Explicação da Regra:

由此 means "根据这个 (原因或者情况)" and used to draw conclusions from a reason or a situation. Usually 由此 is paired with 可见, 看来, 说来 and other similar verbs or verb phrases. Reasons, 由此 + results and implications Notice the last two example sentences. Sentences like those can be used to write a conclusion or summarize a point.
